Lightweight Travel Towel: One Cloth for the Whole Trip

The perfect travel towel should be light, dry fast and take up little space. Microfibre ticks those boxes — but feels like microfibre. A Turkish towel ticks them too, in 100% Turkish cotton: a natural fabric that feels like cloth on the skin, not like sports equipment.
Packs like a T-shirt
Folded, a peshtemal is barely bigger than a folded T-shirt and weighs a fraction of a bath towel. In carry-on luggage, a pannier or a hiking pack it simply doesn’t register — until you need it.
Dries anywhere — even in a hostel room
The biggest weakness of cotton terry on the road: it doesn’t dry. The flat weave of a Turkish towel is dry a few hours after your shower — over a chair back, on a window hook, on the courtyard line. No damp bundle in the rucksack, no smell after three days of travelling.

- Towel and beach towel — the core job.
- Scarf and sun cover on the plane and in the evening.
- Blanket on the train, pillow on the bus (rolled up).
- Privacy screen, changing cover, picnic blanket.
- A layer for yoga: grippier than you’d think and instantly washable — on a studio mat or on the sand at sunrise.
One towel fewer — more room for everything else
Anyone travelling hand-luggage-only counts in grams and litres. A peshtemal replaces bath towel, beach towel, scarf and blanket at once — four things out, one in. On the road you wash it in the basin at night or at 40 °C in any machine, and it’s dry by morning.
