Privacy Policy
1. Controller

2. Hosting and server log files
When you access this website, our hosting provider Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) automatically collects information (IP address, date and time of access, browser type, referrer URL). This data serves to ensure trouble-free and secure operation and to defend against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is generally deleted after 30 days at the latest. Cloudflare operates a global content delivery network; data may be transferred to the USA. This is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (see section 8).
3. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, the data you provide is processed exclusively to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and deleted after final processing, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Newsletter
To send our newsletter we use the Brevo service of Sendinblue GmbH (Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany). Registration uses the double opt-in procedure: after you sign up you receive an email asking you to confirm your registration; only then do we add you to our distribution list. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your email address and the time of registration are stored at Brevo. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter email.
5. Customer photos & user-generated content
If you send us a photo as part of our "Show us your summer" campaign — by email or by tagging @lucidustextile on Instagram or Pinterest — we process this image solely on the basis of your express consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). By submitting it you consent to us publishing your photo — where applicable together with the name or profile name you provide — on this website (including in the customer gallery) and on our own social media channels free of charge, and granting a discount code in return. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future — an informal message to info@lucidustextile.com is sufficient; we will then remove the image from our website. Publications already made on third-party platforms and further dissemination by third parties remain unaffected by a withdrawal. Please only send us photos to which you hold the rights and in which any people depicted agree to publication. Photos depicting minors may only be submitted with the express consent of a parent or guardian.
6. External links
This website links to Amazon and to our profiles on Instagram and Pinterest. When you follow these links, the privacy policies of the respective providers apply.
7. Use of the Pinterest API
We use the official Pinterest API to manage our own Pinterest business account. Specifically, we create and publish pins with our own product images and links to our own offers, and we retrieve analytics and advertising data (e.g. impressions, clicks, campaign performance) for our own account in order to analyse and optimise our marketing. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in effectively marketing our products (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data retrieved via the Pinterest API ("Pinterest data") relates exclusively to our own account and is processed only for the purposes stated. We do not sell, rent or distribute any Pinterest content or data derived from the Pinterest API to third parties. If the connection to Pinterest is severed (revocation of access or deletion of the access token), we cease any further retrieval of Pinterest data and delete cached Pinterest data within 30 days.

8. Data transfer to the USA
The controller (ELKAN LLC) is based in the USA; in addition, some of the services named above may transfer data to the USA. Insofar as a data transfer to the USA takes place, it is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023) where the respective recipient is certified, and otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) together with supplementary safeguards. The USA may not offer a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU; in particular, US authorities may access personal data under certain conditions.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
General Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
This website presents the products of ELKAN LLC ("Lucidus"). Sales to end customers take place exclusively via the Amazon marketplace (amazon.de); the contract terms and processes of Amazon and the seller information provided there apply to orders placed there.
2. Trade customers (B2B)
Individually agreed terms apply to wholesale enquiries from hotels, spas and boutiques. Offers are without engagement; a contract is only concluded upon written order confirmation. Enquiries to: sales@lucidustextile.com.
3. Product presentation
Colour representations on this website may differ from the actual tone depending on your screen. Measurements refer to the pure lying surface excluding fringes; minor variations are usual for hand-crafted textiles.
4. Discount promotions
Promotional codes communicated on this website (e.g. welcome discounts) are redeemable exclusively on amazon.de, cannot be combined with other promotions and may be discontinued at any time without prior notice.
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for distance contracts.
Purchases via Amazon
As our products are sold via amazon.de, you handle withdrawal and returns conveniently through your Amazon account ("Your Orders" → "Return items"). The periods and return conditions shown there apply.
Consequences of withdrawal
In the event of an effective withdrawal, all payments received, including standard delivery costs, will be refunded without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receipt of the withdrawal declaration. The refund is made using the same means of payment used for the order.
